Hello, to whomever might be reading this! 

This is a blog post. The very first of (hopefully) many, depending on how things pan out in the long run, and how I feel about this website that I'm paying CDN$13 a year to own. 

What will I talk about? Pretty much anything and everything that comes to mind for me. That might be something related to writing, something related to life in general, or just some random crap that was conjured up in the foul laboratory that is my brain, and has broken out of containment, demanding to be voiced to someone else in some manner. 

But the main focus? Mostly my own writing, since I'm in need of a medium through which I can connect with some sort of community, in which I might be able to find an audience willing to read the obscure and unusual stuff that I write. As a result: here I am, casting my voice unto the void that is the internet, with an ocean of other voices to compete with. 

I'll post snippets of my own writing, since I need to cultivate some understanding of the type of writing that would be most appreciated by the people of the literary world, and cultivate (hopefully) some fans of my work. These snippets will be here for people to read and peruse at their leisure, should they be so inclined to do so. Hopefully, I might be able to get some feedback from the audience (which technically includes you, for as long as I occupy a corner of your brain), so that I can gauge what does and doesn't appeal. 

So, we now come to the part where I have to cut this short. Not because I lack interest in this, but because I've run out of stuff to say here. I'm sure more will come to mind, later, but that's the beauty of a blog: it really doesn't need to be especially organized.
